Since his first solo album in 1984 entitled “Del 63”, Fito Paez impacted the world with his roots music of rock, jazz, tango and folklore, also creating his identity as a committed artist, complex in his compositions and with lyrics that never closed his eyes to the landscape of social reality.
He stands out among the best and greatest Argentine and Latin American musicians of all time, in his career of more than four decades he has been awarded up to 11 Latin Grammy and a Grammy Award, receiving in 2021 the Latin Grammy distinction for musical excellence. “El amor después del amor”, “Mariposa tecknicolor”, “A rodar mi vida” or “Al lado del camino” are just some of the songs that have led him to be considered one of the most important exponents of Argentine Rock in the last 30 years. And he continues to create hits.
